first install MS-UAA, and then restart

INSTRUCTION:
Unzip to a folder...use Device Manager.
From Device Manager,right click "Audio Device on High Def Bus",choose Update driver,
No to connect,
Install from a list or specific location,
Select Don't Search, I will choose the driver to install,
For the Hardware Type select 'Show All Devices'
Remove the check from "Show Compatible Hardware" and click on "Have Disk".
Next...browse to the unzipped folder and choose the "WiSVHe5.inf".
Ignore XP when it complains.
Reboot.

MIC CONFIGURATION
=======================
Go to control panel, double click Sounds and Audio Device, Tab to Voice, in voice recording, click volume. You may increase/decrease the volume there.
or
You may just double click sound icon in the task bar, click option and properties, change mixer device to Conexant HD Audio input click OK.
Both steps would bring you to the same recording volume.
If you feel the mic still not load enough, click option and click Advance Controls, youl'll notice a new Advance button, click it.
In other control radio button, click Microphone Boost.
Other option to configure is using Smart Audio in control panel, you may try 3 options that available.
