Install

1.Run R255577.exe.
2.The Self-Extracting window appears and prompts you to extract or
unzip to C:\DELL\DRIVERS\R255577. Write down this path so the executable (I.e.
Setup.exe) file can be found later.
3.The Self-Extractor window appears.
4.Click OK.
5.After completing the file extraction, if the Self-Extractor
window is still open, close it.
6.Click the Start button and then click Run.
7.Type C:\DELL\DRIVERS\R255577 in the Open textbox and then click OK.
8.Follow the on-screen installation instructions.

You can also extract it suing winrar and run setup after extraction in the extracted folder.

I have no RIGHT to upload or distribute the driver file, so here is the turorial how to download the driver

A. Go to this URL : http://downloadcenter.intel.com/

B. Now you have 2 options,:
1 - Let Intel automatically identify and select the driver for you
      click on the button show below and proceed with the page instruction.

2 - Manually Select the driver: - write Mobile Intel(R) 45 Express Chipset Family in the field shown below.\

3- On the search result look for Intel® HD Graphics Driver for Windows 7* 64, Windows Vista* 64. Click on the link.
For other version look for:
 Intel® HD Graphics Driver for Windows 7* 32
 Intel® HD Graphics Driver for Windows XP 32/64

!Don't choose INF update Utilities from the search result, it is for Chipset not for graphic.

4. Click Download

 5. Click agree and after that it will begin the download. Install the driver and restart.

Intel support site always release new version for Intel graphic drivers,So it is difficult for me to provide a single link to download page where the link only last for short time before removed from the Intel website. So i decide it is a lot easier to write how to download the drivers from Intel site. 1. Go to Intel download center: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/
2. The select base on the following picture

  3. After selecting the 3 options, click FIND.

4. Select either windows xp for 32-bit and windows xp 64-bit for 64-bit.

5. Base on the picture below, select either exe or zip file, exe file let you download and install it directly by double click on the file. For zip file you need to extract and find setup within the extracted driver folder to install.

6.After select your chosen driver file in step 5.  Click download on the left corner to download the file.

7. Simply accept the term and condition (click on the radio button) to start download.

Intel 965 Express Chipset Family Windows 8/8.1 Driver

Most of the time, by default windows will load standard and basic VGA Driver for Intel 965 Express Chipset Family. There is no updates for windows 8 for this graphic chip on Intel website but there are updates provide by Microsoft updates. You can download and Install it manually by:

Download the Driver for Windows 8/8.1

---

1. Go to Microsoft Update catalog using internet explorer browser and type Intel 965 on the search box. You will see 2 files name with:

Intel Corporation driver update for Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.1)

2. There are 2 drivers available for windows 8. Click add and click view basket then click.

3. Set the location which you wan the files to be stored. I select desktop for this tutorial.

4. Wait until downloads is finish and extract the cab files. (the driver is compress in cab format)
5. You will get 2 driver which is amd64 (for 64-bit) and x86 (32-bit) all in one folder. Extract both (I extract it using winrar). You can also choose one of the driver base on your Operating System.

Install the Drivers

---

1. Open device manager by press windows button + R and type DEVMGMT.MSC and press enter.
2. Right click on standard VGA under graphic adapter and select update driver.
3. Select browse my computer for Driver Software.
4. Select the driver folder we extracted earlier and continue with on-screen installation until finish. reboot.

Additional Troubleshoot

1. You can also use the same method to install with your original windows 7 drivers.
2. The success depends on the driver version so it make take a while totest which version will work.
