Windows XP Installation:
The default Operating System for HP G7000 is windows Vista. If you want to downgrade to windows XP you need to integrate AHCI drivers into windows XP installation disc. This process called slipstream process and you can
read the tutorial here.
Use this sata driver for the process:
SP37005 (you can extarct it using winrar software or run the software so it will create a SP37005 folder on C:\swsetup folder

5. Select "Don' search I will choose the driver to install.
6. Select Have disk and Point to audio driver folder we extracted earlier.
7. Select the inf files and it will install the driver.

Important Notes for windows 7 users:
Normally windows Vista Driver will work for windows 7 but not all. However it is worth to try because using drivers provided originally by HP is always a better choice. You can install it using
compatibility mode for windows vista in windows 7.
Unlike windows XP and Windows Vista, There are no windows 7 driver for those who use intel 2200 ABG Wireless so you have to read tutorial on the link given to install it.
